ruby-gtk2-dbg software package provides GTK+ 2 bindings for the Ruby language (debugging symbols), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install ruby-gtk2-dbg
ruby-gtk2-dbg is installed in your system.
Make ensure the ruby-gtk2-dbg package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep ruby-gtk2-dbg *
You will get with ruby-gtk2-dbg package name, version, architecture and description in a table
